Terms & Conditions 

 

We require that our students meet the following criteria, rules, and policies.

 

  • Have an open mind.

  • Be free of drugs and/or alcohol on training days.

  • Be the age of 18 or older and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

  • Have completed and show proof of all prerequisites listed for the desired course.

  • Inform us of any health issues that may affect their training or safety.

Firearm specific course criteria, rules, and policies.

  • Practice safe gun handling at all times.

  • Have no felony convictions, misdemeanor domestic violence convictions or active restraining orders that would preclude one from owning, possessing or handling a firearm.

 

 

COURSE RULES

Each course has different time requirements for successfully passing. You will understand that regardless of the location of your class, you are required to attend the Arctic Training Group's course you signed up for in its entirety.

 

You will understand that if you are more than 30 minutes late, or if you are late more than once, Arctic Training Group may be required to dismiss you, as you have not met the hour for hour time requirements. NO MAKE TIME ALLOWED.

 

If you do not complete an Arctic Training Group course for any reason, Arctic Training Group cannot give you a training certificate, and you will forfeit your right to any refund. In regard to refund and refund amounts, Arctic Training Group is willing to take in consideration documented emergency situations.

 

Violation of any of these terms and conditions may result in penalties up to and including your eviction from a class with no refund of your tuition.

 

REVOCATION AND FORFEITURE OF LICENSURES AND CERTIFICATIONS POLICY

 

If you do not meet all prerequisites needed for an Arctic Training Group course for any reason, Arctic Training Group cannot give you a training certificate, and you will forfeit your right to any refund. In regard to refund and refund amounts, Arctic Training Group is willing to take in consideration documented emergency situations.

 

The Compliance & Certification Division of Arctic Training Group reserves the right to revoke a license or certificate if the licensee or a person holding certification has committed a substantial violation and/or evidence supporting the following:

 

  • Failure to meet prerequisite requirements before or after taking any course. 

  • Cheating and/or Omission and/or falsifying documents.

  • Failure to provide documentation requested. 

  • The negligent use of licenses and or certificates taught by Arctic Training Group.  

 

If this gross violation has been suspected of taken place an immediate revocation of licensure and or certification will be initiated and no refund of tuition will be allowed or granted.

 

Further action may be utilized as determined but not limited to the Compliance & Certification Division of Arctic Training Group, and possibly the State of Alaska – Department of Public Safety. 

 

The Compliance & Certification Division of Arctic Training Group reserves the right to revoke certification if there are Local, State or Federal rules that impose time limits on completion, this includes single/multiple courses required in a certain order and courses offered as a package. 

 

PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY:

 

  • Full payment is required at the time of registration to be placed on a class roster. All student registration cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@arctictraininggroup.com.

  • ATG requires that all courses are to be signed up for and pre-paid within a minimum of seven (7) days.

  • For custom and/or expedited courses: There will be an Expedited Services Fee of $25.00 per student or $ 200.00 per agency/institution scheduling. 

  • If Arctic Training Group (A.R.M.S. L.L.C.) cancels a class for any reason, enrolled students will have the option of having their tuition payment refunded or rescheduled for a future class.

  • Full cancellation by the student received 14 days or more from the start of the class will receive a full refund of tuition

  • Full cancellation by the student received 7 days or more from the start of the class will receive a refund of paid tuition minus a percentage for fees we incur for payment processing, refunding and administration. This administration fee will be $25.00

  • Cancellations received 1-6 days prior to the start of the class will forfeit 50% of the tuition.

  • Students that fail to appear for a class without prior notice forfeit the entire tuition.

  • Please confirm the class date, time & place 1 week prior. It is the Student’s Responsibility!

 

DO NOT REGISTER FOR A CLASS IF YOU ARE NOT ABSOLUTELY SURE YOU CAN ATTEND. You will lose a portion of your tuition if you cancel the class without re-scheduling.

 

Can I legally attend your courses?

  • It is the student’s responsibility to verify whether or not they are ineligible by statute and other governing bodies if applicable to train and/or become certified in any of our courses offered and / or be certified with the use of firearms.  If you have any questions regarding past convictions, please check with Alaska Department of Public Safety-Permits and Licensing Unit and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

What are your health requirements ?  

  • Must be presently in good physical and mental health.

  • Must have no reason to believe that you are not in good physical and mental, and or emotional health.

  • Must be fully aware of, and do acknowledge and assume all risk of injury inherent in your participation in the training courses.
