About Us
Arctic Training Group focuses on reality-based training, which recognizes and works efficiently with the body’s natural reactions to the stresses of tasks at hand. All we ask is for an open mind from our students, and we require nothing less from ourselves. We consider it a failure not to learn at least one new piece of information while attending a class.
Our instructor team comprises various specialists, from field level operators to subject matter experts and other real-world professionals. The broad scope of experience allows us to offer a well-rounded view of the content we deliver. The cohesive trait among the training cadre is our never-ending quest for knowledge.
Each year we receive many hours of instruction from outside courses and education. We will never become marred down by traditionalism or the status quo.
Arctic Training Group instructors are trained in industry-standard teaching and presentation methods and tactics. We strongly believe in the evolution of training. If the tactics do not work, find a better way; learn it if there is a better way.
Our Mission
Our Primary Role
To practice, promote and instruct fundamental safety in the use of all Firearms, Defensive Tactics and High Risk training involved.

Our primary role is to teach and challenge our clients not to be the victim, to defend against and immediately neutralize any immediate violent threat, and to mitigate emergencies at hand.

We will not pass you in any class unless we know you have learned the required fundamentals & will be successful performing such tasks.

We believe in good manners and best behavior, on or off duty. Profanity will not be tolerated due to this being a pro-active learning environment. We stand as examples, at all times. We are committed to being above reproach in our business and personal dealings.

Our Instructors
Our instructors are mentally equipped and up to date on various law enforcement, military and civilian training programs to date. Our Instructors also meet for mandatory instructor training on a bi-weekly basis.
Our range volunteer's are required to maintain their tactical medic certification along with their Range Safety Officer (R.S.O.) certification. Additional requirements are to volunteer a minimum of 16 hours a month and help maintain and assist in our courses.
Our Facilities
Arctic Training Group is currently leasing our classrooms from various private entities across the Anchorage and Mat-Su Valley areas at this time.
Our live fire ranges are leased under specific legal agreement the ranges under lease are not for public use. Arctic Training Group has the sole agreement to only allow our students on the above-mentioned ranges.
Designated 25 yard – 50 yard – 100 to 300 yard increments will be the most widely used. We also have a 1200-meter range available for the military “Hard Target Interdiction course” and the civilian advanced long range competition course. All training is done in accordance with Local, State, and Federal Laws.
